When we meet with politicians who warn you not to use your cryptocurrencies or that you have to be careful with them, this is because they want to take advantage of your money, of your cryptos, and surely they have investments for themselves that through the technique of fear they want to make you go down to buy your coins and that you sell them at an absurd and gift price.
This is the case of what I think is being done by the vice president of the CNMB,
Monserrat Martinez, who warned that the lack of regulations prompted the collapse of the FTX exchange house.
She is really calling for us not to fall into fraud, and she believes that we must be careful while they approve new laws that regulate this type of thing.
It seems to me that it is quite serious and it is quite clear that they have political intentions to take advantage of the cryptocurrencies of everyone else, especially when it should be taken into account that FTX was one of the largest exchange houses on the planet and that had to be declared bankrupt a few days ago.
According to this official and this Spanish politic, what prompted the fall of FTX was the lack of control by the regulators, that is, she is directly saying that cryptocurrencies must have regulation, and this, my friends, is not decentralization, this is centralization, that is, she directly wants some organization, probably the government, to regulate cryptocurrencies to have control, and the moment the cryptos become centralized, things will start to go wrong, they will be very bad.
She says that this official, that information is not the same as knowledge, that information is huge, but we have to be able to differentiate the grain of the low, we have to see what is the reliability of that information and avoid falling into fraud and bulls.
Well, this is very true, but from my point of view, she is just trying to generate confidence,
so I think we should rather continue with our decentralized cryptocurrencies, and if there is some kind of regulation, this regulation has to be in the hands of the users themselves, that it is through the block chain and that it is not an institution itself that takes care of regulating all this...
but this is certainly not a conversation for which most people are ready.
