A walk to the "Pod Młynem" fish fry shop in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland
Today we took a trip back in time, even though we haven't been here in a while. My wife and I decided to go for fried fish at our favorite fish and chip shop in the Jura region. It's always been delicious here, not necessarily cheap. Has anything changed?
Dzisiaj odbyliśmy podróż w czasie, ba dawno nas tu nie było. Postanowiliśmy bowiem z małżonką wybrać się na smażoną rybkę do naszej ulubionej smażalni na Jurze. Tu zawsze było smacznie, nie koniecznie tanie. Czy coś się zmieniło?
The walk was quite demanding, as the route in one direction was 6 kilometers along a forest trail, mostly covered in sand and roots. It also included steep ascents and descents, as is typical in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland.
Spacer był dość wymagający, bo trasa w jwedną stronę to 6 kilometrów leśnym szlakiem, gdzie przeważają piach i korzenie. Nie brakowało również podejść i stromych zejść jak to na Jurze Krakowsko-Częstochowskiej.
Has anything changed? The fish is still fresh and well-seasoned. Besides the prices, which have gone up a bit, everything is around 100 złoty for two portions of fish, in this case a carp fillet, which I love, plus fries, a salad, and two Holba beers. It's a good price. I'll be back.
Czy coś się zmieniło? Dalej świże, dobrze doprawione ryby. Poza cenami, które trochę wzrosły wszystko jest ok. 100 zł za dwie porcje ryby, w tym wypadku fileta z karpia, który uwielbiam, plus frytki surówki i dwa piwa "Holba" to dobra cena. Będę tu wracał.
