Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of ... Hi I'm Byron from Canada and I draw Zombies!!!

Today I want to talk to you about the resurgence of a meme coin that isn't like all the other meme coins out there. This is a meme coin built for community to provide utility for the community that was built around an artist trying to build community. 
For most meme coins the community is built around the coin. In the case of $DHC, the community was built first, around an artist who has been a creator even before entering the crypto scene.

DHC stands for Da Horde's Coin. It was created on the WAXDAO.io platform and originally created as a way to give back to the community. DHC would be sent out to people who hung out in the Horde's Discord and did simple click tasks. I created NFTs on the WAX blockchain and made them exclusively for DHC. That gave the Horde community the chance to buy and trade my digital artworks without having to spend any actual real money. 

Eventually someone put DHC on Alcor Exchange to swap it around for WAX and then it just started to grow.

The biggest thing to note is that because the meme coin was originally based around the the artwork and creating NFTs for people to purchase, the value fluctuates with the artists output. So when I was producing people used the coin or bought the coin to use it. When I wasn't ... things stagnated and slumped. 

This chart shows a little information about when I was busy and when I was burned out. You can see at the middle of December I began to get busier with DHC and started to really push the coin to reward current community members and entice new ones to join the Horde's discord.

The other reason for this dramatic shift is the start of liquidity pools on TacoWAX. By offering the community a place to stake their DHC to earn some rewards, more and more people are wanting to get a little DHC to partake of this new direction.
The liquidity has been steadily rising ever since.

It's kind of fun and exciting watching the coin grow in value nice and slowly like it is. It's given me new ideas on how to get even more people involved in collecting it, spending it, staking it and all that stuff . . . which brings me to the Horde's first ever CREATE A MEME CONTEST!
