TRON CEO Justin Sun announced that the TRON 4.0 update will change the "blockchain market."
In a style already familiar to members of the crypto community, Sun barely revealed details about the project or its specifications, only saying that the upgrade would launch in the third quarter of 2020.
The TRON CEO also spoke about the new features of Tron 4.0, including privacy, a two-tier consensus mechanism, interconnectivity and the corporate version of the network.
Sun has been considering introducing zk-Snarks since 2018. According to him, this technology will give users the opportunity to conduct anonymous transactions and convert confidential tokens into monitored assets. According to him, first of all, this function is planned for developers, but ordinary customers can also count on it.
Gateway interoperability will turn Tron into a hub that connects sidechains and allows easy integration with the blockchain.
The corporate version of the network is designed for corporate custom solutions based on the blockchain and attracting large companies with the possibility of non-standard solutions on the blockchain.
It is planned to improve the scalability of the network using the Byzantine Fault Tolerant mechanism, which will help to surpass other protocols in terms of transaction processing speed.
