I enjoy drawing little monsters and ghosts and bunnies and snakes. This is one of them…or two of them. (It’s a snake AND a monster.)

In unrelated news, my older daughter finally found the time (I’m impatient, so Mariah and I watched the baby so Frankie would have a few free moments) to make me a couple of masks out of the fabric that I designed. (I had the design printed through Spoonflower, and I’m very happy with the quality of the printing!)

This is a weird one, but I’ve been going through old photos and scanning them, and in the process, I found an old MICRO-ZINE that I started back in 2016. It’s an eight page zine made from a single sheet of paper, which can easily be copied on any printer, then cut and folded and distributed for 10 cents a piece (or 50 cents if you want color copies…)

To me, this is funny, but also a bit odd... It’s strange to look back on something that I started years ago with my current eyes, knowing what I know now, and try to imagine what I would think if I could have my current knowledge... (Too metaphysical? Too bad! That’s the MAGICK of art, writing, and creativity. It is the expression of a single mind at a single moment, frozen in time. By reading old words or looking at an older work of art or creativity, we can journey back in time to the moment of creation...)
[*Sorry if you don’t agree with my politics, but in this case the point is the perspective of this old author at THAT moment in time that's important, not necessarily the specific opinion being expressed, so hopefully that’s interesting enough on its own. (If it's not enough, feel free to leave a comment. I would be happy to hear your opinions, but I also love to argue, so don’t expect me to just TAKE whatever you feel like saying. In other words, if you want to argue with me, you’ll need to bring evidence to the table, not just expletives or catch-phrases... I will, naturally, do the same!)]
