Hello friends and Splinterlands community, I hope you are having a lovely day. If it is time, here's a new fan art for Splinterlands. I hope you join me as I show you the result and part of the creative process.
The card chosen for another occasion is none other than River Nymph. While researching the card's lore on the Splinterlands wiki, which I recommend reading to understand more about the universe because it is filled with interesting facts, I found this: "River Nymphs inhabit the rivers of the Splinterlands. Shy and reclusive, they usually remain hidden beneath the water's surface. However, they have a strong respect for life, and they have been known to aid those in need. They are also fiercely protective of their homes and will defend it if it is threatened."
Without a doubt, my favorite Splinterlands cards are those that depict nymphs and fairies. I especially like them because they are very beautiful, they look very magical and special, with unique designs. In particular, River Nymph has a beautiful design in blue tones because of its aquatic element, and I really like its pointy ears and ethereal aura.

For my drawing, I wanted to try a new, more stylized and handcrafted style than what I usually do. Instead of using solid brushes, I opted for textures that went from the sketch to the line art and filling. To give a touch of charm to the light filtering into the depths where our nymph sees us, I added a gradient blue layer and extracted some lights from it.
Without further ado, I leave you with the final result, which I hope you enjoy, and the creation process in animation format. Warm regards and see you next time! Bye!
