When Justin Sun the founder of Tron announced that he had a surprise to share on February 14th, Valentine's Day many looked forward to what he had to say again, while some saw it as another marketing stunt, one he seems to be a master of. It came as a shocker to me and many others I'm sure many others I'm sure when he announced that Tron was "partnering" (which we later confirmed to mean acquiring) with Steemit.

If you're into curating content for Crypto then there is a high probability you know about Steemit. Being the first Crypto content curation site, they gained popularity and widespread usage. I don't actively use Steemit as I formerly used to but I still go on there once in a while to drop an article and they still attract a lot of content curators on their various arms and platforms from video streaming, to gaming, to sports and football, to even fitness and betting. Though I don't use Steemit again, I wouldn't want to see it come to ruin, and that's one of my fears with the Tron takeover. Justin Sun has so many portfolios on his hand and The Steem Blockchain has soooooooooo many DAPPs on it to keep him well occupied. I'm afraid he will not put in the required time to not just keep Steemit as arguably the market leader but also lead innovations and take it to the next level.

While Justin is a whiz at marketing, actually handling a business and making it grow has not overtime looked to be one of his strong points. Let's hope he learnt some valuable lessons from his recent meeting with Warren Buffet, he sure needs it.
