Hi,
you might know that I'm a big fan of stablecoins, even if they are hit now by the big inflation that is a worldwide event. Yes, from this point of view, it might be a losing bet, but there are opportunities.
The best for me is HBD, either in wallet with 20% or staked on other chains like the polyCUB. The return outweighs inflation and brings a real 4%-6%, which is amazing for a stable after inflation depreciation.
There are other coins, with similar return or approach, but I would like to increase my HBD holdings so that in a few years I can live out of the return. This is a dream, as the chain evolves, and I definitely can't plan with it.
Speaking of unpredictability, I think that for my own peace of mind, I keep the stables, just to be able to get in when the market bounces back. This would be a mighty opportunity, when everything is low to buy massively, as on stables, there will be no 10x return like on coins that recover.
This is the plan for me, keep them for this crypto winter, let them grow and use them when the time is ripe.
As there is no more cheap cash, crypto will continue to decline, as it was fuelled with easy money. We will have some more cycles, till crypto will become the go-to place for inflation cover.
How do you see it?
