Weekend Briefs: Faucets & Freebies Updates

Weekend Briefs: Faucets and Freebies Updates (1/29/23)

It's been a mostly quiet week on my end in regard to crypto freebies - how about you? I did have a few updates that might be useful for your free crypto pursuits...and as always, I've love to hear about any opportunities you might have snagged this week.

ProBit Airdrops

I wrote about the most recent airdrop offering from ProBit, $RAGSCOIN, earlier this week, along with my thoughts and experiences on ProBit's airdrops and giveaways so far. I've got a few updates for those of you also trying to decide whether or not to create an account and participate:

  • The good news: I did receive my first airdrop reward (the $MNTG airdrop) from ProBit, about 10 or so days after the close of the event. So that's a great sign!
  • The not so good news: As I mentioned in my article on the $RAGSCOIN airdrop, there were errors in Tasks #3 & #4. I have finally gotten some meager response from ProBit on Telegram earlier this week and then again today acknowledging my questions, but there's been little movement on correcting the issues at this point in time. These same questions on Twitter have gone completely ignored.

What's next for me? I'm going to keep pursuing these for now. I'm encouraged that I have started to receive previous airdrop rewards, but the meager response from ProBit support is something for everyone to be aware of before proceeding.

NFTs from BULBapp.io Now Out

I've been using BULB as one of my blogging platforms for the last couple of months, and they've released the first round of their NFTs - BULBmojis - over the weekend. The Silver and Gold packs sold out quickly, but there's still a handful of Bronze packs left. Packs can be bought with the $BULB tokens earned by participating on the platform, and these new NFTs add boosts to future earnings.

Oh My, The Faucets Runneth Dry

This week was rather unlucky in that several of my usual faucets ran dry for a time:

  • Horizen Community Hub - This is the first time this $ZEN faucet has run dry for me. Horizen Community Hub is one of my favorite faucets that pays directly to your wallet. One good bit of news, however, is that my daily check-in streak was not lost while the faucet was empty over those few days, so my bonuses remained intact. This faucet is back online at the time of writing.
  • BitsTaken - I just found this faucet recently, and it became a very easy source of a few cents worth of $SHIB, paid into my Coinbase Exchange account, roughly every two days. The $SHIB option (which is currently the only Coinbase withdraw option - the other options only pay to Faucetpay) ran dry a few days back, but is up online as of this morning. I've successfully been able to withdraw my earnings from BitsTaken over the last few days into my Coinbase Exchange as usual this afternoon.
  • PipeFlare - The $ZEC faucet on Pipeflare has run dry several times in the past for me, but I believe this has been the longest instance: I haven't been able to make a claim since January 19th. At the time of writing, this faucet is still empty.

How was your week? Did you stumble upon any cool free offerings in the crypto realm you'd like to share? If so, I'd love to hear about them - referral links encouraged!
