Man must not depend on one source of income! Those words touched me when the COVID-19 pandemic caused closure of many companies and leading to the retrenchment of many people. That meant that the source of income for those who lost jobs ceased, and those not invested or those who have been depending on their salary as their only source of income were facing dire problems. Living on savings with no replenishment is suicide. Having observed this I began looking for ways to earn money and supplement my stipend.
Towards the end of January this year, I came across CEX.IO and registered and account. I deposited 26 USD and bought 380 Zilliqa coins (ZIL) AT 0.068 USD each and staked them at 15.5% APY. At the end of January, I had made 0.7 ZIL which was transferred to my ZIL balance on the 2nd of February and staking process began again. End of February I had made 5.39 ZIL. For March the APY was increased to 25% and therefore I made 8.04 ZIL which was deposited to my ZIL balance and the process began again.
On diversifying my portfolio, I bought 64.7 TON at 0.49 USD each and also staked it for 12.5% APY. I have made 0.266 and 0.839 TON for February and March respectively. The goof thing is that, while my investment grow slowly in numbers, the coins price value has also been increasing hence my investment portfolio increases too.
On the other hand, I have been sharing my affiliate link to earn 30% commission from whoever uses my referral link and today when I looked, I had made 25 USD. So I decided to buy more ZIL for staking and increased my portfolio to 519 ZIL.
So I have decided not to withdraw until December 2021, I will see how much I will have made then.
