In this video we will take a Simplistic look at the Stellar Consensus Protocol, break down Stellar Lumens XLM, and compare Stellar and Ripple.

At a high level, Stellar is an open-source and decentralized financial platform with a native currency XLM. It is used to execute fast, secure, cross-border payments. The protocol is used for digital currency to fiat currency transfers which allow cross-border transactions between any pair of currencies.
