How To Earn Money From The Internet

(Yes It's Real)

Welcome to my article on the ways you can earn money on your spare time or earn money for a living working on the internet from your home or wherever you like. It is possible and this can be achieved without "Ponzi schemes", not everything revolves around a "Ponzi scheme" - Haha. I will go over a few ideas and examples of some things I come across surfing the web over the past few years.

Write A Book

Are you a creative writer? Do you have information that'll be useful to others? Do you have idea's that you personally haven't seen from others?
You are able to write literally about anything and sell it on the internet to a wide variety of audiences, it all comes down to how you go about it, how well do you construct your words, do you paint a clear picture in the readers mind? is the information your sharing basic enough for the average reader or someone who is looking to pursue that passion or career? It's not about how technical your words or sentences may be, that'll turn anyone off especially for those that are trying to learning something new. Here are a some examples of the things you can write and sell online. Yes, some of the things may be so simple and basic but believe it or not there are authors out there selling their simple books on "How Toe's" and what not and there are customers buying them.

1. Cook Book: Does your family come from a diverse background, is there a certain dish in your family that you can't find when you go out to fancy restaurants or basic outings? Or maybe the particular way your mother or father or anyone else from the family that taught you how to cook or bake a certain dish taste's way better than your neighbours or even that high-class restaurant you eat from. No lie that there are millions of cook books on the internet and to be fair, they're all similar. Sometimes I wonder how every single author has a few dozen or hundreds of sales, the answer is simple, people love food and this is one of the most simple ways to start earning a side income if you love to cook for a hobby and eventually when your online business does grow you can turn it into a part-time job or go full time once it starts to cover your bills and other necessities.

2. DIY Book: Do you have a creative mind and set of skills to help with creating things around the house or workplace making it easy to access certain items and create storage for those particular files/items so you don't have to go through a whole cupboard or wardrobe to get that one single thing?
You can write about the most basic things that people can set up around their environment and go on about their days, DIY's don't need to be task's where people spend days or weeks doing, it can literally be a 5-30minutes task that'll create a big difference in their daily routine. There are lot's of people looking for "Smarter" and "More affective" ways doing certain chores in their daily routine's.

Never overthink what you are trying to sell, more so, stick to the basic's, what does the reader new, what tools will they need to help build or create whatever it is they're learning how to do, where and how can they get access to the things they need.

3. Finance Book: This idea may sound like a cliché but it's really important especially during these times of hectic inflation, there are people looking for a third job some aren't able to find a job, some get let off work a week or 2 after working at a job or long term workers get rid of due to the high budget finance's workers are demanding, no doubt that certain workers go home after a long day of work and read up and watch video's on the economy and how they can better their financial situation. There are lot's of things you can write about.

Here are some ideas;

- Trading Forex

- Cryptocurrency

- Savings

- Investing

Or you can write books about how the banking system works.

4. Workout Book: We live in a day and age where everything is moving fast, where people are so focused on work and family life and trying to fit in with society they forget to set aside time for themselves and look after their fitness and health, you can write up routines and (relating to Cook Books) diet books for fitness enthusiasts. The fitness industry has a big market too and depending how simple you keep your steps and rules the more readers you will get.

5. Photography Book: There are lots of people looking to learn how to advance their photography skills, some to impress their friends, some so they can pursue a new career or just because they want a new set of skills, in these type of books you can write about the different types of brand's of the camera's, the programs and effects you use to enhance your picture/photo quality.

6. Science Book: Do you have a better understand of space and time than the average person? I have to admit watching some of those science documentaries I have a hard time understanding most of the lingo, you can literally write your own understand of certain things about space or chemicals or whatever else is classified as "Science" aka certain surgeries etc. Some people are looking for a dumbed down version of technical science books / documentaries, remember what I said a bit earlier, you don't need to use technical words or sentence's it'll turn the reader off, we here to keep them interested and invested.

7. History Book: Are you one of those people that are heavily invested in your family tree or where hooman's come from? You can share your piece of history of where your ancestors come from or as stated in the "Science" section, you can write a more understandable book for the reader's. There is no doubt that people wonder about what Earth's history is or who the first people were, the first colony and civilization. Giving people a better and much easier understanding of their history will make them fall in love with your words and wanting more. Some people are enthusiasts for facts and history some like the idea of the possibilities our people had in the past. Maybe you have a different theory and would like to write up your own book about human or earth's history?

Tip: When writing up facts about history, go that little bit further and give a little more detail on whatever it is your talking about, maybe about the monument or if anything else that may have happened during that specific timeline, it will intrigue the reader.

8. Write Blogs: You can always open a up a blog account and start to write short or long articles, once your account grows and big companies and/or Brands see that your viewers are organic and active, they will reach out to you, the advantage about owning a blog account is, you can set up your own time schedule for either, weekly reviews or monthly, or whenever the product you're writing about releases a new update, you can be flexible. You have no limits when it comes to blogging. I've personally come across certain blogs/articles where the author pretty much copied and pasted the information and changed certain words about to make it sound a lot more sophisticated, again this goes back to keeping things simple and straight to the point and originality, no one wants to read someone else's work through another persons blog, they will simply go to the original article and give credit where due and the copy-cat author will keep wondering why their views and subscribers aren't growing.

9. Novel Book: Then there's the classic, you can always write a novel, find a certain event that has happened and start to mould that to your story, not all novels are based on true story, you may even want to create a series that may turn into a movie one day once it grows in popularity?

10. Sci-Fi Book: This genre is awesome because you can literally write about anything you want, it doesn't have to make sense (I mean it does but the things certain characters or objects may be capable of doing or the events that take place around them would not be worldly doings or you can write about a whole new world) this genre tends to help the creative writer's expand their horizons, people with endless imagination that think of the most messed up or heavenly desires, people that have an imagination about other dimension's so forth, typically when writing a sci fi novel, you will need to focus on attention to detail and keeping the reader occupied, get them using their brains and engaging with what they're reading with, make them feel like they're living inside of the story, that's just my 2 cents, haha.

There are a lot more example's I can give but for the sake of this article we'll have to move onto another topic. I hope these 10 points help to give you some idea to start with. (Drop other topics author's can write about in the comment section).

Once you have all of that organised you will then need to come up with an appealing cover for your book or article then plan the marketing strategy, what time of audience will be you targeting etc. (Ofcourse you can't judge a book by it's by it's cover but we are now in 2023, everything is moving towards digital and whether we like it or not people are steering towards a picture before reading the story, take NFTs for example, welcome to the new era).

Review Products

Get Paid To Review Products: You can go to google and search "Get paid to review products" you will come across many websites, often companies hire certain people with a given timeframe. You will need a online presence for this one as companies and brands tend do look for an active audience, if you can bring them the traffic they'll offer you their goods and services.

Get Paid To Write Reviews: Now this one is tricky, you may get paid in gift cards or such, payment in cash is not always guaranteed, but to make the some income in this field successfully you'll need a following presence on social media, you'll need an active following, somewhat like an influencer, companies and brands look for large accounts that bring engagement and customers to their services.

Overall to manage this successfully you'll either need to find the right company/brand or know the right people for the gig or you'll need to have a big presence on social media. As they say, it's not what you know, it's who you know, it is advised having an account with a large active following as it will give you the advantage as that's when they'll be coming to you, number's attract.

Affiliate Marketing

There a lot's of affiliate marketing programs out there, such as, Amazon, Online Casino's, Shopping Stores etc.

Affiliate marketing is a strategy used by companies and brands to get the customers/users engaging and market the product however they like, since it's not a signed contract you don't have a deadline and it's an ongoing program for as long as the company keeps it active, this is the most affective way to market in these new times, I see new and old companies and brands push this style of marketing so people can sign up to their product and generate a code for the individual and get them posting it all over the web, every uniquely generated code takes the audience to the products website, when they sign up the specific code that they clicked through is the user that gets a % of the commission when the new member ends up spending money on that website or if it's a gambling website the user than invited the new member earns a % of money deposited and withdrawn in most cases.

Not all affiliates pay in cash, some pay in discounts or gift cards, If the movie theatre you go to has an affiliate on their website you can earn points and discounts for each time you purchase tickets through their website/app and if you invite a friend and earn some % when they purchase tickets + goodies.

Now here's the scary part about affiliates and I personally experienced this so please watch out for this type of "Affiliate", some "Ponzi schemes" turn themselves out to look like affiliate programs, you typically get a certain amount a month per user that signs up and subscribes to the website through your link, although you personally having signed up for free this isn't fair on the new members you invite and personally I believe it's wrong to do, especially if the website that is being promoted has no value to anyone whatsoever. So watch out for "Ponzi's" claiming to be a affiliate, from my experience with "real affiliate programs" they shouldn't cost you or anyone a thing to sign up, If the website wants an amount of money upfront or even when you go to withdraw your affiliate earnings, run.

How to tell if an affiliate is legit? Check the website and see how much information you can get on the product, find out if they have a community hangout "Telegram" or "Discord" or "Reddit" etc. If the company's founders details are out in the public eye, reach out to them and ask questions if you have any, a good leader never backs down from any question. Finally seeing proof of work, how on point is the affiliate program, is it as good as they market the program or are there delay issue's in payments or are people just not getting paid for whatever the reason may be. The biggest giveaway most of the time (Not all the time but most of) If you're intuition is giving you dirty feelings... please tame yourself and back out of there. It is very easy to fraud fake positive reviews and images making it seem that people are withdrawing money every minute or hour or even how much and how it is, no website should review who is getting what amount, unless there's an option for them to choose to.

Online Social Media Marketing

This is another way to generate Passive Income, for this you'll need an active following and organic engagement on all or any social media platform you are on, some brands and company's look for accounts with active members engaging on most of their posts and the best part these companies are willing to pay to the account. First focus before looking for brands to promote for, grow your social media accounts to 10,000 followers/subscribers (This will be part of another article which I will get around to writing up) that being said, if you do find an active community and the founders or their admins notice you, you may even get your foot in the door at 1,000 followers, the more the merrier ofcourse.

There are real world brands such as COCA-COLA, PEPSI, BURGER KING, MCDONALDS, KFC ETC. that will pay you per post or per an X amount of engagement per month etc. This is a little harder as these are HUGE brands and they tend to look for people with either MASSIVE followings or a popular face, good luck getting a gig with them and congratulations if you do.

Then there are web3 startups, these are generally company's built on the "Blockchain" there are lots of legitimate web3 crypto company's looking for dedicated members to promote and be active in their social groups and they're looking for long-term members so it'll be an ongoing gig as long as your active and stay persistent. These include both meme projects and utility projects.

You can find these company's all over the internet, for example; if you want to find a crypto company start by looking up the token's on the ERC20 (Ethereum) and BEP20 (Binance Smart Chain) network, ofcourse the majority of tokens on there don't have an agenda or flop after 1 hour of being launched but look for ones that are a few years old and still around and ones that have been building during the bear market. You will be noticed once you get your foot in the door, keep active and prove yourself.

Tip: Please do not beg for money or a job or gig or whatever especially if it's a new company/brand but in general do not as it doesn't leave a good impression on you, keep in my WEB3 and CRYPTO are still in their birth era and the world of WEB3 businesses hasn't kicked off yet, we're close but not quite there so there aren't many looking for new members to hire etc. BUT there are projects out there so keep looking. Never Give up!

Create Video's or Go Live

Creating video's is really important as the average person prefers to watch and listen rather than read, some prefer in depth video's but considering we are in 2023 most of the people like straight to the point short video's, this is where TIKTOK comes into play, once you manage to get an active following on TikTok, brands will start to reach out to you offering you some pay for either a one time promo or a monthly depending how they set the contract up.

YouTube is ofcourse where everyone starts but it is quite saturated, it's really hard creating a name on YouTube and %99 of the tutorial or promo video's you find on Youtube are all the same, that being said, don't steer away from Youtube but try to find a way to be creative with your content, get your audience engaging. If you can afford do weekly or monthly giveaways, set up live streams etc.

With that final part, let's talk about "Live Streams" with the world being in a little bubble with everyone living their day to day lives being out of touch with one another some people not only want to drop a comment on a video hoping for a reply within 24 hours or a week but they would like to communicate with the content creator then and there while they're alive.

Going live gives not only the audience that human touch but also allows the content creator to connect with their audience discovering who their followers are slowly shifting to more of what they are interested in giving a little touch of what they are promoting making everyone subconsciously feel relatable.

The cool thing about going live apart from engaging with strangers and all is once you have a big enough account you will be able to activate your monetization program and the more people there are the more likely you'll be tipped. This all goes back to your social media presence, it's all comes down to how you market yourself and which team you are working with - oops... I didn't mean to say that last part, yes... no one does it all by themselves in this space, don't let anyone make you believe that.

Sell Item's or Clothes

Garage Sale: Do you like garage-sale shopping? Do you have old junk around the house or do your friends keep trying to give you their junk for free?

There's no garage sales or second hand shops sell items for cheap as they can so they can get rid of the items so they can have room for the next load or in the garage sales position they just want to get rid of their stuff, keep in mind if they weren't after that tiny extra cash they would either throw it away or give it away for free.

To be successful in this field you will need to search on Amazon or Ebay or whatever sales website is popular in your country to see what's trending and what's selling for a few extra or way more online than it is from a 2nd hand shop or garage-sale, the good thing about this is, you don't have to depend on your followers or friends to sell the item, people on these sites are generally looking for things to buy, if your item is a few bucks cheaper than the next sales-person (not necessarily always the case) and you have a better description and a clear biography about who you are and description under the item's you are selling with good quality photo's, most likely you will sell your items quicker and once your account starts getting positive reviews and if people do decide to subscribe to you due to your positive and responsive nature you can make a 2nd income from there and eventually open up your own website that leads them to your sales account for a more professional look, you can start your own small business from home, it won't be easy though.

Sell Clothes: You can sell clothes online online but this field has a lot of competition since it's easy to get a bulk of clothes only for cheap as per shirt and lots of people are selling it, it comes down to how you market yourself, no use in doing this if you're making 50cents per shirt or if you're making an extra $100-$500 a month (unless you plan to grow the business with that $100-$500 a month) that's if your current job is paying you well where you don't really care about making profits the first 6-12 months of starting your online clothing business, once you have built a successful portfolio with a catchy name you'll be set, then it'll come down to how consistent you are so be alert at all times, you don't want to miss a new potential customer.

Investing & Crypto/Forex Trading

Investing: We all know how hard it is buying investment property with the current inflation and housing prices and we know how expensive it is to buy a business let alone start one ourselves. This is were investing in stock shares comes in place, you can buy a fragment of company's through your broker or your bank or you can open up an account on  Binance and invest in one of the main coins for a long-term hold. Before doing so make sure you set up a plan that you stick to.

Crypto & Forex Trading: Let's say you feel ballsy and have studied the market the last 3-6 months and have an idea on how things are playing out, instead of just investing in stocks, crypto or forex you can open up an brokers account or talk to your broker at your bank, let's say you choose to trade yourself, make sure you have extra funds to cover up for the leverage as this is where most investors lose their money, with a clear plan that you actually stick with, you are capable of making lots of money in about 6-12 months and this is possible, especially trading crypto since the new world currencies have a lot more volatility.
