Will Blockchain Technology Help Save The United States Postal Service?

18 Aug 2020

19 August 2020
"The USPS is currently operating at a deficit of over 15 billion a year." Its not a deficit, its just that the service has been underfunded. Americans are so fecking weird, man. This is what taxes are for that you have nice things for everybody, like a postal service, schools, heath care and proper employee wages for people who work in those services. Give them more money, and if they still cant make ends meet, give them more again. Keep giving them more money until you get a good postal service. Sure it means less tanks and guns. the teargas budget might have to be cut and billionaires gotta tighten their belts for a while, but times are tough and everyone has to make sacrifices.

How To Fix a Stuck Ethereum Transaction

26 Jul 2020 CryptoOwen

28 July 2020
An easier way that doesnt involve a reinstall from seed is to go to Settings>Advanced and turn on show customised nonce. Send the same transaction with the same nonce but with a higher gas fee. It should go through fine, and your old transaction will show as failed. Best turn off the customised nonce feature after you've got your stuck transaction through tho, as you dont really want to be mucking about with it unless you have an actual problem.

My thoughts on yield farming and BAT pump

21 Jun 2020 paragism

27 June 2020
There's minimal risk supplying BAT to compound, the only serious risk is contract risk, but the gas fees are very high. If you have an argent wallet they allow you to put BAT into compound without any gas fees tho (but you cant borrow against it). A New Way to Bet in a Secure and Transparent Environment

I've had a few altbet for a while. If you have more than 10, you can stake your altbet tokens on a fractionalised masternode over on StakeCube. or get them to run a PoS node for you if you have more than 1000. They also have an altbet faucet under the community section. Its worth looking into.

The Many Ways To Earn Passive Crypto Income

Its completely liquid. You can sell it back at any time and retrieve the coins you staked. They also allow you to buy pooled bitcoin hashpower at minimal cost (I think its minimum of approx $5) as well but that is a sunk cost that you cannot recoup, and as the hashpower of the network increases, the hashpower you have bought will obviously see less returns.

Masternode staking can be pretty lucrative, but its quite expensive and needs a level of technical knowledge. There;s quite a good service from stakecube that allows you to buy stakes in a masternode for a few dollars, so you get the benefits of a masternode, without the investment - either in crypto or in expertise.. Worth checking out if you want to dip your toe in the water

Bitcoin’s Real Weakness? Energy Waste

25 May 2020 FarewelltoMinds

25 May 2020
Oh, you've got it all the wrong way round. Ok. Marx's labour theory of value is correct as far as it goes. But its anthropocentric. Human labour is a form of energy, but there are many other forms of energy. Bitcoin stores energy, and that is what gives it its value. This is a very good read on the relationship between energy and bitcoin.

Thats why I mentioned Monolith. They seem to do real time conversions, so that you dont actually have to hold fiat, which is what I hoped Monaco did. I haven't got their card yet to test out tho, so it might be another case of manual conversions, but from their website, it seems not

You also forgot to mention that as well as getting $50 for referring people, you also get $50 in monaco if you sign up with a referral code If you sign up without a referral, you dont get it. Mine is if anyone needs a code but let me know if you want me to remove my referral link or replace it with yours.

? Looks very like my card that came a few weeks ago ... in hexagonal packaging ...the one you stake 50 monaco for ...that you can earn interest on if you keep your coins in their wallet. But you cannot directly spend in crypto, which is the reason why I got the card in the first place. You need to manually convert your crypto to fiat in order to use the card.

I got mine the other week, fantastic packaging for the card isnt it. The problem I've found tho is that you need to manually convert cypto to fiat to use it. I came across Monolith the other day, seems like a possible alternative that doesn't require this, but still exploring.
