What is Yieldmos?
Yieldmos is a special yield optimizer that lets stakers of ATOM, OSMO and more automatically compound their staking rewards, so that they earn a higher yield without much effort and that in a non-custodial way.
When you subscribe to a compounding strategy you are giving Yieldmos the right to daily claim and restake any staking rewards you receive for the next 90 days, but you can end this service anytime. This happens with the help of so called "authz", which allow you to authorize Yieldmos to perform certain actions without giving them complete control over your wallet or funds, meaning that the service is non-custodial and they couldn't access your funds to send them to anyone else.
Yieldmos is different from similar projects because it supports all validators on the supported blockhains and you can select which validator you want to your staking rewards to be compounded too. And it also offers the same service for liquidity providers on Osmosis, where their farming rewards can swapped and added to their liquidity pool position to increase their yield.
So far the project is supporting 15 different blockchains that are all part of the Cosmos IBC protocol including ATOM, OSMO, JUNO, SCRT, KAVA, LUM, STARS, AKT and soon also EVMOS. Depending on the cryptocurrency and how high their staking APR is, you can increase your APY between 4 and 40% by using Yieldmos.
Currently there are no fees at all for using this service, but in the future a small percentage of the claimed cryptocurrencies will be claimed as fee which will be announced before its implemented. Yieldmos has plans to launch its own governance token and become a DAO, the tokenomics of this future token are currently unknown but it’s likely that there will be an airdrop for early users and stakers of ATOM because most projects of the Cosmos Network do this.
