BRAVE just dropped their beta version of BRAVE SEARCH.  Now a major player, Brave is shaping up to really disrupt the industry like how RobinHood came into the investment industry and made commission free trading the industry norm.

I think now that over 32 million people are using Brave, we will see more search engines and browsers paying their users in crypto or cash to the point where it becomes an industry norm.

I've only been using Brave for a year but I like the idea of being paid for the data I create and the ads I see. 

I have yet to try Brave Search but from the few searches I made it looks pretty legit.  I prefer using Presearch to combine the crypto rewards with Brave.  I will consider using it if Brave offers more rewards to users who use their search engine. 

If there isn't an incentive, I doubt they will get many people to change to their service.  Google is extremely efficient but pays their users nothing and makes billions using the data they have on their users in sometimes unfair ways. 

I think a lot more competitors are going to continue to arise challenging Google as the dominant search engine.  Once Google adopts a rewards program like Microsoft, the industry norm will officially become a series of rewards based search engines competing with each other to provide the highest rewards and best search results to attract more users.
