Day 1 (2) My first day on Pump.fun. Honest recap.

Started today with $10 and a wallet I made yesterday.

My old one got drained yesterday too. Malicious contract, hadn't touched it in months, connected it for an airdrop and watched everything leave automatically. $50-60 gone. Six years old, drained in seconds. Already wrote about that you can read it here: https://www.publish0x.com/0xshadow-void/i-had-a-6-year-old-wallet-it-drained-me-in-seconds-xrppdeg

This is what happened after.

Moved what I had to Solana. Decided to actually learn Pump.fun before touching anything. Spent a couple hours just watching tokens die. Analyzed a dev wallet on Solscan guy had launched two tokens in 15 minutes. Hard pass. Looked at dead tokens with bonding curve at 0% after two months. Obvious once you know what you're looking at.

Then I saw GURA. Gawr Gura memecoin. $158K market cap, $813K volume, 8630 holders. Something was moving.

Put in 0.035 SOL. Like $2.87.

Down 74% twenty minutes later.

What happened: I bought during the pump. I was late and didn't wait. Somebody used me as exit liquidity and I let them.

Expensive lesson for $2.87 honestly.

What I know now that I didn't know this morning wait 30 minutes minimum before entering anything. Check the dev wallet before you buy. Don't put in more than you're okay losing completely.

Still have 0.089 SOL. Still here.

Day one is supposed to sting. That's the point.

Serious question for anyone reading what would you do with 0.089 SOL right now? Genuinely curious how people with more experience approach this. Drop it in the comments.

Not financial advice. Just someone writing about it honestly.

I learned crypto the hard way. Now I write about what I wish someone had told me narratives, on-chain data, and how to think before you ape in. Anon. Always NFA.
