In a midwest farm, there is a working family. Amie, your grandmother Beth, your mom Mary and your father Chad, the farmer. Amie, has 7 years old. She woke up early every morning, have breakfast with family, help your father to take care of the cows and harvested the extensive field. In the afternoon, she loves to read books, despite doesn't understanding deeply, she especially loves a dark red book. This book describes stories about plagues in farms and how in the past they affected civilizations. Although the remote possibility, Amie fears the return of plagues.
After an exhausting day, every night Beth tells a story of a terrible scarecrow. He's resurfaces every Friday the 13th, with his straw hat, dark clothes and a scythe. Legend says that scarecrow carries the spirit of a young farmer who died in a fire in his farm, in an attack by large farmers to take his land. Because of this, his terrorize farmers who doesn't act fairly and honestly on their crops. Amie, never afraid of this story and go to sleep peacefully.
One morning, Chad woke up and a plague called CEX had affected the farm. First off, CEX attacked part of the wheat field, and day after day, the plague attacked corn, vegetables, legumes, until the entire farm was affected. Chad tried everything to stop CEX, however all efforts were in vain. It looked like a curse, because Friday the 13th was coming that week.
On the night of Friday the 13th, everyone was hopeless, but decided to build a fire outside. They all got together and formed to sing an old sad song at the same time gave hope within everyone. An intense noise interrupts the music, the clouds become dense, crows fly everywhere and in the center of devastad cornfield appears a horrible person in dark clothes and a straw hat. Dragging his scythe on the ground, he walks over to Amie. Seeing Amie has no fear, the scarecrow drops his scythe on the ground, opens arms and laughs terribly. As in a spell several scarecrows appear in criptography positions across the farm. The scarecrow explains those scarecrows are mystical and will protect them against plague that seek to suck up wealth in an unfair way.
The scarecrow moves to walk back to the cornfield, when Amie says:
- Wait, what's your real name?
So he replies:
-My name is DeFi Scarecrow!
