We got him!
The Most Wanted Man in all of Crypto, Sam Bankman-Fried, has finally been caught and arrested.
Earlier today, SBF was arrested by authorities in the Bahamas, at the request of the U.S. Government
SBF is being charged with wire fraud, wire fraud conspiracy, securities fraud, securities fraud conspiracy, and also money laundering,
Here is the official, tweet by the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, announcing the arrest of Sam Bankman-Fried:
“The Bahamas and the United States have a shared interest in holding accountable all individuals associated with FTX who may have betrayed the public trust and broken the law. While the United States is pursuing criminal charges against SBF individually, The Bahamas will continue its own regulatory and criminal investigations into the collapse of FTX, with the continued cooperation of its law enforcement and regulatory partners in the United States and elsewhere." - Philip Davis, Prime Minister of the Bahamas
At first it seemed that SBF was taking refuge in the Bahamas and was safe from the reach of other countries.
However, when push comes to shove, the Bahamas eventually arrested SBF and are now set to extradite him to the USA to face his charges.
While perusing Twitter I saw SBF's last public interview as a free man, and I feel like we all should watch and savor this as a little treat.
I don't mean to be cruel and cheer for someone being arrested, but he deserves to face judgment and I look forward to the court's decision.

Despite SBF being arrested, I believe this is just the tip of the iceberg for this SBF/FTX drama.
I cannot even imagine what is going to come out next.
