Today's coding session was about "Switches, Arrays, and designing my first basic website"
I'm understanding the importance of reading documentation.
Learning as a newbie developer is a funny adventure.
Nothing like I've ever done before, not even like learning pick-up (talking to women).
However, the fundamentals of learning are similar
I'm kind of a non-linear guy. I like doing and learning, even if I commit fatal mistakes...I want to learn from them.
It's like the first time I learn how to cold-approach a woman on the streets, it was shitty as fuck. Now, after +500 iterations...it's like second nature.
Coding may not have the same emotional drive but it also requires you to keep it cool in order to find the structure of your program.
What a sense of peace when you finally understand your own code.
Like today while learning how to use "var" vs "let"
I'm still getting the hang of it but it appears that "let" is block-limited, while "var" is global.
I must admit I felt intimidated when I found out about everything required in order to become a Web-Developer.
Hell, I can't believe I thought it was going to be so easy.
Everything from libraries, frameworks, API's, Git, etc...
But still... all that matters now is mastering the basics, building something and getting a job as a web developer asap.
I thought that I was late in the block-chain wave, but it appears that I'd still have enough time to sharpen my skills and perhaps learn Solidity in the future.
