Atomic wallet just last week introduced the staking of the Atomic Wallet Token (AWC) through its wallet. The staking will allow holders of the AWC token earn weekly AWC for freezing their tokens. With an APR of up to 23%, I think it's one of the best in the staking market.

Which of the AWC token is Eligible for Staking?

Where Can I stake My AWC?

AWC can only be staked in Atomic Wallet. Specifically, the android and IOS versions at the moment. The desktop version, i.e. users on the windows, macOS, Ubuntu, and the rest will have the staking functionality in the subsequent release. If you happen to be using older versions of Atomic Wallet, visit your respective app store and update it to the latest version.

What the minimum amount of AWC Can I Stake?

In order to make the staking program easily accessible by all holders, the Atomic Wallet team has decided to set the minimum to 10 AWC which is approximately $2.68 at the time of publishing. This will attract and enable small token holders to also stake and enjoy 20% APR. 

How to stake AWC?

Step 1

Go to the "Staking" tab below your screen after starting Atomic Wallet. 

Choose "Atomic Wallet Token" from the list of available assets. On the right side of the screen is the APR of each of the corresponding assets. 

Step 2

The next screen provides you with a summary of your AWC balance (both staked and unstaked)

 Proceed to the next stage by click/tapping on "stake" Blue-button below your screen. 

Step 3

The next step requires you to enter the number of AWC you want to stake and based on the number and the current market price of AWC, your expected yearly return is calculated and displayed in AWC and its dollar equivalent. 

Tap on the "stake all" if you wish to stake all of your available AWC tokens. Click on the "stake + amount of AWC" button. 

Step 4

Authorize your transaction by entering your password or using the fingerprint option provided you've enabled it. 

NB: You need to have a small amount of BNB to cover the transaction fee as the freezing is being done on Binance Chain. 

Step 5

Congrats! You've successfully staked your AWC and ready to receive weekly rewards. 

Step 6 

Go back to the AWC staking page to see your staked balance updated. 

You can also choose to unstake your tokens at any time by clicking on the "unstake" button below your screen.

Comparatively, AWC has one of the best APR in the market today and looking at its tokenomics, AWC is likely to experience steady growth in value.
