What is Xaya?
Put short Xaya is a decentralized, permissionless blockchain that is optimised for scalability and fully decentralised games and dapps. Xaya is an evolution of the first altcoin Namecoin and the popular 2013 game Huntercoin. Huntercoin being the first blockchain game ever. Xaya achieves scaling trough a technology called game channels pioneered by the developers of Xaya. Game channels are novel way of creating near infinite scalability for countless games and players. They allow for real-time, trustless, decentralized games. Without the need for servers. As it runs peer to peer.
With no walled gardens, free markets and natural price discovery are underpinned by censorship resistance, trustless trading, and cryptographic security. Xaya is a mineable cryptocurrency and uses SHA-256d and neoscrypt algorithm.
Xaya finished its ICO in 2018 and has a total supply of 77,303,933 CHI and a circulating supply of 45,365,930 CHI at the time of writing. Xaya is managed by autonomous worlds ltd. based in Malta, and reserves 10% of the supply as incentive for the developers. The Xaya team contributes to the Bitcoin core code base and also maintains Namecoin, the first altcoin. They also created the worlds first Blockchain game, Huntercoin, in 2013.

Human mining
Human Mining is the use of human skill and intelligence to mine (distribute) digital assets on a blockchain. These digital assets can have significant value, just like a regular cryptocurrency. A good example would be a high level sword obtained by defeating a boss in game. Players compete for scarce resources that have real value.

Taurion
Taurion is a true MMORPG running on Xaya. Currently in demo. The player can choose out of 3 factions. After selecting a faction the player can now navigate a large open world and fight other players of different faction to compete for scarce resources that must be mined, crafted or build. All the assets in the game are owned by the players and the game will run perpetually on the blockchain. It can't be taken down. The game inspired by games such as Eve online, Dune 2, Huntercoin and Civilizations comes with its own lore and is developed in-house by the team from Xaya.
Soccer Manager Elite - SME
Soccer Manager Elite is the blockchain version of the popular simulation game Soccer Manager where players can choose their clubs, strategies and compete with other players. Currently in beta. The blockchain version of the game has in-built scarcity and a limited amount of leagues and clubs. A limited amount of people can become managers and they will compete against others for real world money and value. There's also the option to become a shareholder or an agent. Shareholders work just like owning shares in a company. And agents manage individual players. All the assets such as shares and players and in-game currency are trade-able and have real world value.
Isles of war
Isles of War is an idle strategy game with a real cash economy! Players develop islands to gain resources used to maintain their growing island nations. Every island can be stolen so players will have to defend their islands with bunkers, soldiers, tanks, and aircraft.
Xayaships
Xayaships is a tech demo to show off the novelty technology called game channels. It serves as a proof-of-concept to showcase the scaling solution. The game itself is a blockchain version of the classic naval warfare Battleship game. The game works and can be played by simply installing it. Make sure to run your wallet and sync before launching the game.
All the games are community driven with true asset ownership and are build to last forever. Open source, serverless and provably fair.
As Xaya is open-source any developer can get started developing games. However it is not limited to games only.
Technically you can build any application you want to run on the Blockchain just as with other Blockchains.
Xaya is also an official partner with Ubisoft.
The coin that enables the Xaya Blockchain, CHI, is traded on exchanges such as Liquid, Probit and Citex,
with hopefully more exchanges to come in the near future.
