Looking at money from a zoomed-out perspective, most people understand that money can be a form of an accounting system, who owns what, how much do you have, and who owes what to who. The future independence for humanity relies solely on the blockchain ledger, no more banks taking 40 cents on your dollar, and no more government telling citizens what they can and can not spend their hard-working money on.
It worries me that more people will look at the risk of losing money in Bitcoin and not taking a chance on the future of finance but will leave with a bank who loans out money they do not even have and in the process committing types of crimes an average citizen would go to jail for. Decentralized Digital wallets in the space would help people stay away from the fees and risk of the centralized money system. On the other hand, the proof-of-work system will put the power in the hand of the people being able to be free from the system and helping with privacy payments.
People want to talk about the risk; there have been more than 30,000 data breaches from mom and pop shops to retail stores to banks, privacy is never the main concern for retail stores and banks money is and with more money more problems, banks only step up their security to protect what is theirs while they are taking what is ours.
We have heroes who have been in the space for a long, long time trying to get the adoption of Bitcoin noticed and understood, those who do not want to learn or overlook will be left behind to perish, those who do not understand that the blockchain is the future will not succeed. Put this into perspective, think of any computer or laptop; humans are more like the keyboards to the computer, what we call “Nodes” are the computers, and “Hashrates” are the fans that make things run.
All we are missing is a community; even though Bitcoin has been around for some time, most of the time has been trying to recruit keyholders to open the doors to adoption with limited people who knew, on the other hand, you still had people thinking their fiat was the best thing in the world shooting down the keyholders so how could we win.
Now fast forward to 2021, where millions have access to unlimited knowledge and multiple ways to buy Bitcoin and acquire a Digital wallet. All we need are people to open their eyes stop betting against the market being over-leveraged on an asset that is here to serve and protect the little guys who are not in control.
