The enormous base
To the surpassing peak
This giant of rocks
A crazy physique
Piercing the clouds
Splitting the skies
Yet motionless and stern
No matter where the sun lies
Even these mammoths
Have their kryptonite
Water being one
Chipping away at its might
Not in a minute
Hour or day
But water’s yearly torture
Assuring a mountain’s decay
Yet they still stand
Yet they still speak
Consistency is key
