Yesterday, like many weeks ago, we went hiking with a group of friends in the early morning.
I woke up at 5 AM and I had to be there in half an hour. The night was everywhere. Fearing it would get too late, I quickly got dressed and got on my bike. As always, I put my bike in a friend's shop and from there we headed up the dark mountain.

Walking in the mountains at night has a pleasant and unusual feeling, however, as I get used to it, I feel that it feels different from the past.

Now that I’ve been hiking here many times at night, it is as if I have become more and more familiar with its routes. It's like I can predict the paths and turns of a mountain. I’m in touch with the earth beneath my feet more and more.

My existence here has a sense of familiarity, and that former fear has largely disappeared. It’s like I can connect to nature better. This place is no longer that mysterious and unknown land for me.

A few of our hikers were advancing separated from us, and we could see the two single white lights shining in front of us, among trees up the mountain.

Those who climbed these mountains as kids are now probably more tangible with these woods. They went up and down and came up again and we just arrived … It was fascinating…
