The mountainous forests of northern Iran bring incredible autumns. The colorful mix of tree leaves is truly magical. And as we get closer to winter, the chance to see these views gets shorter.

With the arrival of the cold and gloomy autumn, the tree leaves turn yellow and fall little by little, like sparks of yellow fire. In the meantime, some trees have leaves that turn a stunning red. And some trees are evergreen, or they join the yellow autumn later, so their leaves stay green longer. Because of this, at first glance into the forest, an amazing combination of colors excites the eyes.
The colorful autumn in this region is famous among everyone.

Last week, I had planned to go to the mountains, but my friends scheduled it for a time when I couldn't join them. Then, a few hours before sunset, I found some free time and decided to head to the mountains.

(Here is a picture I took in the afternoon VS the picture my friend took in the morning from the same tree. Although he has an iPhone! :))

I put a bottle of water and a pack of biscuits in my bag and hit the street. To reach the mountain trail, I had to walk 3 kilometers and get there before sunset. Since I had no place to park my bike, I had to leave home on foot.
I crossed the bridge and reached the entrance to the mountain road. It had been a long time since I'd been here, and it was exciting for me. When I checked my watch, there was less than an hour left until sunset. I hadn't brought a walking stick with me. Then suddenly, I remembered something.

In the past, when I went to the mountains with experienced hikers, one of their habits was to hide wooden sticks they used as walking sticks under the nearby grass so they could use them next time. Many people knew about this, and when returning from the mountain, you had to put the stick back in the same spot for the next person.

I searched in the grass and finally found a wooden stick. It was a long and sturdy one. It came in very handy. Afterwards, I headed into the mountain alone.
I can’t remember much afterwards, just running around, taking photos, and feeling fresh air in my lungs.
