It's 03:00 and I cant sleep.  Sooooo here goes a rant.

After, really, 3 years or so (when it began with the far left's denial about losing the 2016 election LINK) Trump's impeachment hearing looks like it will end as it began - A partisan vote.  I hope not.  I truly hope some of the moderate democrats realize what dangerous route Nancy Pelosi dragged the nation down kicking and screaming.   What a total sham.... I still cant identify a chargeable crime they claim the president did.  The only thing I think i can determine is their opinion that he "abused his power."  That is a dangerous precedent to set for future administrations.  And all this because, I am pretty sure they know they can't beet President Trump in 2020.  Likely a couple of more issues compounding their profound fear - Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg aging.  Now the notorious RBG may out live Trump, she has fought off cancer a couple of times and seems to keep marching on.  But, could you imagine if Trump was able to fill her position with another Conservative Justice?  No wonder all the Democrat candidates were preemptively advocating the need to expand the Supreme Court, otherwise it would be just one more constitutional obstacle preventing them from shoving their agenda down Middle America's throat.    But I digress down a rabbit-hole.

Now why has Nancy shot her party in the foot?   My perception is that President Trump; who isn't a career politician, and has made it clear that he doesn't like the current conditions within the capital.  Trump is actually doing one of the main promises he maid before the 2016 elections.  He is shining the light on all the career political troll's under the bridge and in the swamp. All this effort the democrats have made to highlight any illegal activity in the Trump administration has only highlighted to me that what they claim Trump is doing is, in fact, the democrat's standard operating procedure for the Obama Administration.   I personally don't like Trump.  But I support, 110%, curtailing the massive beast called the US government.   Anything the exposes the attack on our civil liberties, anything to stop the suck of so much tax out of my pay check - and opportunity I might be able to provide my children, anything to educate ALL VOTERs the need to say,  "damn this government is to powerful we need to put it in check."   So we have now multiple investigations, one impeachment trial, and since the democrats already concede failure of this one - they are already foreshadowing future impeachment trails.  But what about all this other graft and corruption with the Biden Family that the first impeachment trail uncovered you say!?  Nothing to see there! Why do Democrats get a pass!?  <---- That is one reason i still Support Trump to DESTROY THE SWAMP --- Republican and Democrat alike!

I am not sure of the schedule.  I was hoping that the senate would vote to acquit and the President Trump would hold the State of the Union.  Now Trump has said it will be a optimist address.  If it were me, I couldn't see myself taking the high road and not jabbing into Pelosi's eye.  It will be interesting to see.
