As the current crew of Democratic candidates battle it out in Iowa and New Hampshire. Mike is working to insert himself into an election like no other candidate before him. 21 November 2019, Bloomberg file to run as a presidential candidate in the Democratic Party. So it is funny that Mike hasn't jumped through the "normal" primary hoops like Sanders, Buttigieg, Biden and Warren. It almost seems like Bloomberg is really running as an independent, and is planning to high jack the Democratic National Committee support when their primary produces an un-electable candidate.
With the trouble highlighted in Iowa, Bloomberg has sprung his attack to reinvigorate his relatively lack luster start in 2019. Additionally, Bloomberg has announced that he will be dedicating an unprecedented amount of money and has spent 120 million up to this point. Mike will be skipping out all the initial states and focus his time on "super Tuesday" where 14 states and 40% of the democratic vote. Is that a smart strategy, maybe. But what about all those people in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada you say?! Screw'um! They don't matter to Mike anyway. Pennsylvania matters though - Bloomberg has already spend 10.6 million of his own money on TV and radio adds alone. Trump reportedly spent 66 million of his on money during the 2016 race. I guess if you can buy an Democratic Primary, maybe you can buy a Presidential election.
No Bloomberg may pull off buying the primary, but I think middle America is already sold on Trump. I would like to see a strong Libertarian candidate. Maybe it is getting close to the time where we steal the moderates from both the Democratic and Republicans and pull of a win. But i think things are going to well for Trump, I think he has the momentum. I think the current Democratic running in the primary are to socialist. Mike is the democratic parties hope to win an election, but i think he will tear it apart "buying the primary." I still wouldn't vote for him on his environmental stand (and really the hypocrisy of it all), his tax plan and his violation of the second amendment.
