We all love Bitcoin/Crypto, but not many merchants also accept Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies as payment method yet. But there are already very creative online merchants where you can pay with crypto.
#1 Purse.io
Purse.io is a US-Startup which provides the possibility to shop every product from amazon. Purse acts as an intermediary between the so-called 'Shoppers' and 'Earners'. The Shoppers can shop the whole amazon product portfolio while paying with crypto. The Earners on the other side are fulfilling those orders and can get crypto. And the best part is, you will always get at least a 5% discount on every product on amazon. You can choose the discount between 5 and 33, but if the discount is higher it might take more time to fulfil the order. A more detailed howto guide can be found in the purse blog here.
#2 Bitrefill
Bitrefill is one of the largest and best-known online-merchants in the crypto world as the website only accepts cryptocurrencies. You can shop vouchers for many companies there (for example Nike, Ikea, Google Pay, Apple Pay, ..., just to name a few), the offer varies from country to country. Beside these vouchers, you can also buy telephone top-up cards for prepaid contracts.
#3 Planet Express
In the time of online shopping, national borders seem to be less and less important. You can order products from all around the globe and they will be carried to you. But shipping costs sometimes are still quite expensive (ex.: US <-> EU) or international shipping is simply not available. Planet Express is a parcel forwarding company which provides you with a national mailing address, which can be used on checkout to save shipping costs. Once the package arrives at the warehouse you can select between different shipping providers to deliver the package to you. Of course, it takes longer but often it can still be cheaper than buying the product at home. And you can pay them via Bitpay.
#4 Cryptocribs.com
This is the crypto Airbnb alternative. Cryptocribs acts as an intermediary between the hosts which rent accommodations and travellers who need a place to sleep, just like Airbnb. There aren't as many hosts as on Airbnb, but who knows what the future holds, it's worth taking a look.
#5 Pay fiat invoices with Bitcoins
For this topic, I can't recommend one operator as it depends on the country and base currency (EUR, USD, CHF,...). On Reddit, I found a good list with many different providers for nearly every main fiat currency (here). But in general, the idea behind is to pay fiat invoices in crypto. So you send them your invoice and pay the amount in crypto. Then they will pay the bill for you and that's it. Cool and simple, isn't it?
#1 and #3 are Ref-Links, I will put the normal links below:
