The spotted owlet is a small owl that lives in the subcontinent. The spotted owlet is a common resident of open habitats. They are very cute and very well camouflaged. They have adapted to live among humans and are found in urban areas. They are commonly found in parks and farmhouses in cities but because of their camouflage, they are not visible.
These cute beauties live in my office garden. So I try to visit them daily. They are living in a group of five to six family members. As I know their home in a tree hole but still it is very difficult to find them. They are hiding behind the bushes. Still, I am able to photograph them.
