The rook is a member of the crow family. It is a migratory bird and is found in urban areas. I saw this bird many years ago while driving in a hilly area. At that time, I had not started birding but after several years I saw this bird again. They are very unique with white bill. They are found near parks and are also found in fields. They are mostly in the company of other crows. They mostly live in large flocks and forage on the ground.

They are very elegant and quiet, don't make any noise. They are not violent like other crows and don't fight with each other or with other birds. Yes, they are opportunists like other crows and feel happy to take some easy food. They spend two to three months in Islamabad and then fly back to their nesting places.
