Update 8-28-20 @ 1:30 PM - I bought in at $3.19 and $3.12 yesterday. Currently, I am in a profit range with Tezos despite a lot of nay-saying.
The only stable thing in a volatile market is uncertainty.
If you are not comfortable doing this with your money, have fun watching me doing it with mine!
Yesterday, the whole market was down with few exceptions such as Chainlink (LINK) which is known for uncorrelated movements and Compound (COMP), etc.
The rest of the market took a nice dive. However, the market recovery prospects remain strong.
Now seems like a good time to buy in! I am not buying the FOMO on the latest dumps. WHY - I have no reason too. Give me one good reason to think that the markets are going to behave differently now, than ever before - in unprecedented times; the key word being UNPRECEDENTED.
In fact, I hope the market crashes more; I will gladly buy some more cheap crypto up off people who got scared and sold theirs. Markets go up and down - I feel like people forget this... yea, don't. Variance is normal - even in DAI stable coin.
I'm putting $100-200 USD into Bitcoin (BTC), Tezos (XTZ), Stellar Lumens (XLM) - and, or anything else that strikes me as a good investment.
I've also decided to start stacking Nano, since it is the token I support the most - ChangeNOW makes it easy to switch out XLM for Nano...and just about everything else, of course - but it's hard to find a cheaper and faster pair of tokens to exchange.
There is no way people won't pump the market for a quick turn-around if nothing else. I am hoping to see a strong recovery and finish to August.
I still think flipping LINK, along with other DeFi related currencies is a good way to make money if you are patient. I've had good results - I should probably do it more often, but I am busy a lot of the time - it's an adjustment period for me at this moment in time, I am juggling a lot of things.
I just purchased $100 in Tezos at its low drop of $3.19 USD, if it drops more I will buy more, but I feel this was a good bet:
I bought another 5 Tezos @ $3.12. I'm actively waiting for new drops to invest more, I actually hope to see some large ones.
I've been in profit SINCE I invested both times, unless you count the second dip for the second investment which was calculated and expected.
Truthfully, even if I was below the profit point in the first 24 hours, it wouldn't phase me at all - and if you can't get onboard with that then I don't think there is anything I can teach you except to direct you to your virtuous patience.
I suspect there will be a hard recovery within a week, but this is some interesting market activity. There is always the possibility the market could drop lower, but I doubt it will be hit much harder in the next few days.
I anticipated slight drops below my investment points, but I wanted to secure low market prices for future staking purposes. Alternatively, I may decide to swap my XTZ for something else.
Good luck with your investments everyone, truly.
Stay smart, Stay safe!
