Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming states that Democrats will again boycott meetings on Presidential nominations. He asks to suspend rules for the duration of this business meeting. It is approved. The votes are taken. The count is 11 in favor for the appointment Scott Pruit to head Environmental Protection Agency. Now the democrats are going to say this was unfair for sure, even though they’ve changed the rules in the past. They really should have considered my idea, dissolving the EPA. I’m serious.

Think about it. The startling increase in the number of government employees has generally become a burden, and has prevented the expansion of industry and the economy by allowing an unregulated agency to enact unneeded and over reaching regulations which often show favor for certain industries over others. They have the power to choose the winners and losers.

Step 1: Dissolving the EPA. We already have more rules and regulations than we need, few understand there necessity, lawyers have argue what they mean, and industry and economic growth has been strangled by people we didn’t elect. So obviously we don’t need unelected officials making regulations any more.

Step 2: you make congress do its job and write any new laws and regulations as they are paid to do. Only then will the citizens be able to hold someone accountable. Elected representatives can be voted out, appointed bureaucrats cannot. In addition you have just reduced the government payroll by 15,000 overpaid employees that are unnecessary because we’ve already elected Senators and Congressmen and a President to make those decisions.

Democratic Minority Leader Senator Chuck Schumer, well… Democrats lost and if they want to have a say in what’s going on they need to show up. It is work and they’ve decided not to show up and do their job. Maybe they should be fired. I’d be fired if I refused to show up to work. We pay them an awful lot of money. I truly wonder if the democrats are having second guesses about their new leader yet. I also wonder what democrat voters think of the tactic or if they are even aware that their cherished leaders refuse to go to work.

I have already heard FOX News ask “How do you go back after you break the rules?” That doesn’t take into consideration that Former Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid changed the rules to get a simple majority. This a major fact left out of the conversation and that gives viewers a different perspective on it. Look at the Republicans, they cheated! Incomplete reporting can sound like opining, be careful not to get caught sounding like Elizabeth Warren saying that Republicans are stealing a seat on the Supreme Court. It isn’t stolen, Obama made a nomination and Republicans decided that another left wing activist judge was the last thing the country needed and that the people should not have another forced on them when there is an election which would provide them with better choices.

Texas Sherriff Sally Hernandez of Travis County, Austin City is refusing to comply with immigration laws and detain illegal immigrants for the federal government. She took an oath of office to enforce and comply with the laws of the United States. Instead she has defied them openly.

Sedition is overt conduct, such as speech and organization that tends toward insurrection against the established order. Subversion of a constitution and resistance to lawful authority is sedition.

This measure has not been amended since it was introduced. This joint resolution nullifies the “Implementation of the NICS Improvement Amendments Act of 2007” rule finalized by the Social Security Administration on December 19, 2016. The rule implements a plan to provide to the National Instant Criminal History Background Check System the name of an individual who meets certain criteria, including that benefit payments are made through a representative payee because the individual is determined to be mentally incapable of managing them. Current law prohibits firearm sale or transfer to and purchase or possession by a person who has been adjudicated as a mental defective.
