Judge Neil Gorsuch, a graduate of Columbia, Oxford, and Harvard is nominated to fill the now vacant seat of Judge Antonin Scalia who pass away February 13, 2016.  He is the daughter of Anne Gorsuch Buford who was the first women to head the EPA under President Ronald Reagan.

Senate rules require 60 votes to end a filibuster and republicans have 52. Democrats are calling it a stolen seat because republicans denied President Obamas nominee and had stated that the people should get to decide who the next Supreme Court justice will be by electing their next president and letting him make the choice.

After a second day of boycotting committee votes by Democrats the Senate Committee Republicans changed rules requiring Democrats to be present for the vote and took it in their absence. The vote was 14 -7

Price is new head of HHS and Mnuchin the new Treasury secretary.

This is what happens when someone abuses their power like former senate majority leader Harry Reid and his changing the rules so that only a simple majority was needed. Not only was a blatant slap in the face to fairness but Reid did this without even considering that at some point the other side might win an election. They thought they had it all wrapped up and that Hillary Clinton was the chosen one. Game over. While there are many politicians I don’t like I really can’t think of many….well never mind. He has got to be one of the meanest ill-tempered person that I’ve ever seen. Reid is a no middle ground scorch and burn politician. That leaves half of the citizens without a voice.

In a discussion on CNN regarding the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Gorsuch by President Trump Nancy Pelosi stated that elections have ramifications. Yep. She also stated that Gorsuch was a “very hostile nomination.” Hostile? Pelosi, in response to a crying mother who’s soon was brutally murdered by illegal immigrant said that she was sorry and prayed for him but, the people in sanctuary cities were not breaking the law.

Senate Judiciary Committee approved the nomination of Alabama Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions as attorney general along party lines. The vote was 11-9. Winning. So much winning.

Before the vote Democratic Sen. Al Franken of Minnesota said "It's important that we know if Senator Sessions is able or willing to separate fact from fiction and speak truth to power”. This is a question from someone who made their way producing fiction! He was also rebuked for attacking Senator Cruz when he wasn’t even present to respond. Such hostility.

CAIR Directors says Presidents Trumps immigration policies are bad for America and that they promote fear and hatred. Big surprise.

In an attempt to make it the first sanctuary state Democrat Kevin de León president pro tempore of the California state Senate has put forth the California Values Act. Included in this act:

In no event shall state or local law enforcement agencies or school police or security departments transfer an individual to federal immigration authorities for purposes of immigration enforcement or detain an individual at the request of federal immigration authorities for purposes of immigration enforcement absent a judicial warrant.

Also,

The attorney general … shall publish model policies limiting immigration enforcement to the fullest extent possible consistent with federal and state law at public schools, health facilities operated by the state or a political subdivision of the state, courthouses, and shelters, to ensure that they remain safe and accessible to all California residents, regardless of immigration status.

Still not convinced that the Democratic/progressive/socialist/globalist are your enemy? They are attempting to tell the Federal Government of the United States of America and all of its citizens that they are taking one of our states! This is not a 10th Amendment States Rights issue. National Security is clearly the responsibility of the Federal Government. Refusal to protect U.S. and enforce U.S. borders and laws is treason. You’ve been betrayed. This not a simple dispute between parties this is about whether or not we are a nation at all. Do we have borders? Do they have a purpose and why are they defined in a seemingly different than the normal accepted dictionary definition of borders?

Colorado state lawmaker tells Tucker Carlson that in the face of a movement by democrats to become a Sanctuary State, he wants to enable victims of crimes committed by immigrants to sue officials responsible for allowing them to be there. Sounds like the start of a perfect solution. Law enforcement officers get their orders from elected officials who are sworn to uphold the law and protect the constitution. Why should anyone including an official, especially an official, be exempt from liability for the actions they have taken? Especially when done in knowingly, openly, and in blatant defiance of the law. It’s crime being committed at the highest level of your governments. Solution, charge them for their crimes, remove them from office, and sentence them. No plea bargaining.  No prisoners. A Scorched Earth policy seems best so as to leave no doubt of the illegality of this behavior.

President Trump meets with leaders of various organizations about his nominee while Vice President Mike Pence introduces the judge to Mitch McConnell and other lawmakers. The presidents meeting included leaders from the NRA, Right to Life, and The Federalist Society.

Riots at University of California Berkley and the forced cancellation of a speech by Breitbart editor. He has been denied his invitation to speak. Where’s the ACLU now?

The republican club who had invited him were made to pay for extra security and then the event was canceled by police. According to Milo Yiannopoulos, who was denied his opportunity to speak, a group from Oakland called the “Black Block” showed up.

These are not protesters, they are rioters dressed all in black, faces covered, carrying weapons, smashing out windows with baseball bats. A small portable lighting trailer is laying on its side burning and is the smallest of several fires. There are small explosions of fireworks being thrown. A young woman wearing a red Trump hat was standing quietly looking around, probably in disbelief by the look on her face, and as she looked away someone from behind reached in front of her face and used either pepper spray or mace on her.

 I’m certain that the people gathered to listen had no idea they would be pepper sprayed and beaten just for wanting to listen to someone speak. It’s about 7 pm PST and as I watch live video I am disgusted and can’t believe that this is the same movement that demand “safe spaces.”  It appears that law enforcement has safe spaces a couple floors above and are looking down on the crowd. As they allow it. Well, they did make one arrest. Just one. Unbelievable! They should have been dispersed the rioters using tear gas and water. Not a good combination. Very irritating but not as much as watching college campuses burn. If this is going to continue to be allowed by the college then their funding should be removed.
