Trump addresses voter fraud and vows to investigate in at least 2 states. He claims approximately 3 million have voted illegally. We’ve been hearing of voter fraud happening for years but when Donald Trump talks about voter fraud he’s attacked over his claim. Democrats claim there is no proof of voter fraud while just last week they claimed the Russians hacked both parties during the election and demanded investigations.
Illegal Voting
Case 1: 37 year old Rosa Maria Ortega from Grand Prairie, Texas was found guilty February 8th 2017 on two counts of illegal voting. The jury deliberated for about two hours before returning the guilty verdict and she was sentenced the following day on two counts of illegal voting and sentenced to 8 years in prison and a $5,000 fine. She faced up to 20 years on each count. This was a decision made by a jury of her peers, not a judge. The people, the citizens, have spoken wouldn’t you say? I would have spoken louder but at least these citizens had the backbone to stand up for the laws that protect them.
Prosecutors say she applied to vote in Tarrant County and acknowledged on the application form that she was not a citizen. The application was denied and she was notified she was not qualified to vote. Five months later she reapplied and claimed she was a citizen. Although she never voted in Tarrant County, investigation showed she had voted as a Republican in Dallas County 5 times since 2004. Her attorney claimed “She had no ulterior motive beyond what she thought, mistakenly, was her civic duty.”
In a statement from Attorney General Ken Paxton whom Ortega, ironically, had voted for he said that “Safeguarding the integrity of our elections is essential to preserving our democracy.” Her lawyer says she will eventually be deported and wake up in a country she doesn't know. Ortega claims to be a scapegoat.
Case 2: Urbana, Illinois February 9th. 33 year old Miguel Valencia Sandoval allegedly used a fake identity to vote in 2012, 2014, and 2016. Sandoval was detained attempting to cross back into the U.S. claiming to be Ramiro Guerrora Vaszuez. In March 2005 he had purchased a Texas birth certificate from Oscar Guerrero-Vasquez for $50,000. This enabled him to obtain an Illinois ID and open bank accounts, take out car loans, and open 2 restaurants.
According to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office he is charged with aggravated identity theft related to the false statements of U.S. citizenship in an April 2012 passport application. You can face up to 10 years in prison for just for that. He also faces charges of aggravated identity theft and making a false claim of citizenship in November 2016 in order to vote. That leaves the three misdemeanor counts of voting in an election by an illegal alien in November 2012, 2014, and 2016. It should be much more than a misdemeanor.
Case 3: Again, Illinois: Margarita Del Pilar Fitzpatrick, a Peruvian woman married to an American citizen, presented a valid green card and passport from her home country and obtained a license. The DMV employee offered her the opportunity to register to vote despite her documented alien status. The court noted that DMV employees are barred from saying anything that will discourage an applicant from registering to vote. She was allowed to sign a document attesting to U.S. citizenship which allows her to become a fully registered voter. Just one little problem, she pursued citizenship and reported she had registered. There used to rules to keep stupid people out.
Case 4: Illinois, wow they got some problems, Audrey Cook is a Republican election judge who cast a ballot on behalf of her dead husband who was ill and died before completing his absentee ballot.
Case 5: Iowa, surprise, not Illinois this time, Terri Lynn Rote, 55, a registered Republican in Des Moines was arrested for voting on an early voting ballot at the Polk County Election Office and then again at a county satellite voting station.
Case 6: Miami-Dade County Gladys Coego, hired to open absentee ballots, was caught by a co-worker filling in bubbles for a mayoral candidates. She was caught in the act and arrested.
Case 7: Texas - Election Day, Phillip Cook was arrested after voting twice. He claimed to be from the Trump campaign testing the security of the electoral system. He wasn't.
That’s seven actual verified cases and twelve counts but if that’s not enough, zoom out to a larger view.
2004 - Wisconsin found clear evidence of fraud in Milwaukee including more than 100 voters voting twice, and over 200 felon voters. There were also thousands more ballots than voters recorded as having voted in the city.
2004 Paid Democrat operatives charged with slashing tires of 25 Republican get-out-the-vote vans in Milwaukee on the morning of Election Day.
2012 North Carolina Elections Director Kim Strach told state lawmakers at an oversight hearing Wednesday that her staff has identified 765 registered North Carolina voters who appear to have cast ballots in two states during the 2012 presidential election.
2016 Jerry Mosna finds two stacks of ballots for the 2016 Presidential election on his mailbox. The 83 ballots were each addressed to different people, all supposedly living in his neighbor’s two-bedroom apartment. Monsa took the ballots to the LAPD but was directed to the post office, didn’t they even think it curious?
If voter fraud isn’t enough we’re also dealing with other problems stemming from our lack of enforcing immigration laws. Champaign, Illinois Salvador Garcia-Luna age 27, was indicted by a grand jury for aggravated identity theft, lying on a passport application and possessing a firearm as an illegal alien. I don’t know if he voted but identity theft would get him the opportunity and none citizens carrying guns is a bad deal.
So I’ve just listed 1,255 illegal votes and it was pretty easy to find. I’m certain there are way more than that.
Las Vegas school trustee and Clark County School Board member Carolyn Edwards of the nation's fifth-largest public school district wants it to declare itself an immigration sanctuary for students and staff. Of approximately 322,000 students in the 351 schools in Las Vegas area almost half are of Hispanic heritage.
