DeFi has been all of the rage for the last year or so, and many new platforms, dapps, and companies have popped up to provide lending services with various benefits.
Each one of these brands offer different services and perks, so you should really do your own research first.
I have been using Celsius Network for the past six months, and it has been going pretty good so far.
Celsius Network offers a custodial service (not your keys) to hold your tokens, and in return, offer competitive interest rates that are paid out weekly.
The tokens that you can currently earn interest on are:
BTC, BCHABC, ETH, LTC, XRP, XLM, DSH, BTG, ZCash, OmiseGO, Ox, Orbs, EOS, Gemini, Tether, Paxos Standard, TrueUSD, USDC, SAI, DAI, TrueGBP, TrueAUD, TrueHKD, and TrueCAD....
yeah, that's a mouthful.....
They are also planning to launch Algo, TRX, and Paxos Gold at some point in the future.
Interest is paid out weekly (Monday here in the US), and the interest rates do change week on week.
Stablecoins typically will net you 7.5 to 8%.
Celsius Network also offers their own token: CEL, which you can choose as your interest "reward" each week. They do offer higher returns when you choose to claim in CEL, and a few exchanges do carry the token.
So far it has been a pretty good platform to use. You can withdraw at any time (I have a few times to make some trades here and there).
Celsius Network also provides consumer lending with varied rates based on collateral and lending volumes.
