Why did you step into the world of Bitcoin and ultimately cryptocurrency as a whole? Was it because the world of crypto could be a new social and financial system? Was it because crypto offered freedom from the usual suspects of the banking and financial sectors? Was it the promise of obscurity, anonymity, disrespect of regulations and the lawlessness of Clint Eastwood in a Western movie?
For myself I have always been a huge fan, spender and hodler of cryptocurrency - I as many have, got in when Bitcoin was just a baby, then took a break (d'oh) - but what the main attraction has always been is all of that which I mentioned in the first paragraph... But the outside world, built up around its fiat currency system, just cannot help itself... It wishes to influence and inflict crushing regulations on much of, if not all of the crypto world. Coins, tokens, websites, services are among the targets... The banks and financial institutions in the main have been at war with crypto since its mass adoption... Maybe out of fear and premonition of a world without paper cash... Oh for dear life the banking and financial elite do not want that. They need the fiat cash consumers to keep consuming and using their products.
This is what brings me to what I see as the easy part in stopping the sabotage of the banking and financial system, and the meddling of regulatory bodies not fit for purpose such as the United States Securities and Exchange Commission aka SEC.
Every financial and banking institution is relying on bodies such as SEC to come in and crush crypto with regulations - many of these regulations demand outside governance and interference such as decentralisation - not what the Crypto world needs - what needs governing is for the main done effectively within the varying Cryptocurrency Communities and Environments. We clearly see the good guys and the bad guys ourselves, and can weed out quite well enough thanks SEC, the criminal element.
Crypto does not need regulatory systems from the fiat institutions - we are seeing more in Cryptocurrency rebelling against the banking world... and it is this where we all play our part.
Quite simply we use our own free will and lobby these institutions demanding an end to meddling, via email, and by the vote with your wallet or purse - or we as consumers stop using their products and services. It really is that simple...
It is amazing the power you have as a consumer when the collective says "no!"
On many occasions we have seen how simple rebellion and consumers hitting the big corporations in the pocket and bank accounts, how these corporations quickly shut up and stop what they are doing... They will only listen when you and I say "no" and continue to say "no".
