So guys, 

I've been quiet for over a month with NRG staking with a good reason. In short, I started staking on 30th November 2019 with 110 NRG coins on my laptop. For that time I have over 99% uptime. Restarts were only happening when there was need to patch the Windows. Anyway, I got rewarded 4 times since then, but all of those rewards were in the period from 20th December, until 01 January. Each reward is 2.28 NRG.

But I received nothing for 40 days now. According to the calculators I should be receiving rewards about every 600 hours with the amount of coins I have. Anyway, I tried asking in reddit NRG section about this, and I was told that all is good, and should receive a reward by end of January. Which obviously did not happen. Someone else told me that if I'm looking for regular rewards I should try staking on KuCoin, where they offer annual interest of about 13-14%. However I think that I will still be better doing it on my own in my wallet and holding my keys.

Other than that I'm thinking to give it little bit more time to see if I will be getting a new reward.  The main point here is that the rate of the rewards is slowing down when more and more people are staking and the people with bigger amounts of coins will receive more often the reward, which is always 2.28 NRG.

Anyway, I like the project Energi in general, they are promoting really good causes like Energy Impact Platform, for which I made an article few days ago - here.

If you guys are interested the place to buy Energi coins is KuCoin exchange. Sadly there is no option to pay with credit card directly and it needs to be traded for BTC/ETH. But still with it's current price of under $2 and promising future and huge rewards from staking and masternodes I think this is one of the top investment options at the moment. The best part is for me that it is often overlooked by the media.
