Phantom wallet introduces a burn option
Phantom is the most popular wallet in the Solana ecosystem. Because Solana has such low fees, nefarious actors find it profitable to spam wallets with fake NFTs. These NFTs even cost a little bit of SOL to rent space in your wallet. Leaves you scared to interact with the NFTs and you feel like you are being held hostage
Help is here! Phantom introduced a burn token function natively within the wallet.
Step 1: Open Your Wallet
Step 2: Click on the little 4 squares to pull up your NFTs
Step 3: Choose the NFT to burn (this is me when I was like 3 and my mom signed me up for gymnastics for some reason? Look at that fuckin outfit smh)
Step 4: Click the 3 dots and select "burn all tokens "
Step 5: Click “I understand this can't be undone” and then burn
You did it! Now my shitty gymnastics childhood memory is gone forever!
