Setting up a Phantom wallet on Solana
Phantom is the Solana ecosystems most popular wallet. It also happens to be my favorite wallet in any ecosystem. Here is a guide on how to get started with Phantom and your Solana journey.
Step1: Go to https://phantom.app/ and click in the top right “download” button.
Step 2: Select your preferred mobile app store or browser. For this guide I will be showing the desktop version on brave.
Step 3: Click “add to brave”
Step 4: Create new wallet if this is your first time , if you already have a seed phrase import it. (Can be seen on step 6).
Step 5: Create a password! Be sure to follow prudent password complexity rules.
Step 6: **Most Important** Write down your secret phrase, this is the only way to recovery your wallet if you forget the password**
Step 7: You are done! I always believed in you, enjoy the Solana ecosystem!
