Warning to all Coinbase users:

I just received a call from Coinbase that my email on my account was attempted to be changed from the following two phone numbers:

1-888-551-0955  - automated call

1-432-201-9735 from Seminole, Tx – real person

I took the 2nd call after logging into my account and checking to see it was secure, They were nice and emailed me proof they were from Coinbase by sending me the incident number.

Of course, I looked at the full header and saw that the domain was wrong from Coinbase. See blue link below in header. I asked about the fact the site says they will never call me but they informed me that with a breach of this kind they do call.

I should have played a little more with them but when I read back the real email address to them, they hung up faster then I though they would. Didn’t even try to explain why. Guess that’s not in the script. Also the domain was registered on 5-25-24. See below information.

So make sure you watch it if they call or email you-
