When I first started really exploring the world of blockchain gaming, it was with a game called Lost Relics, backed by ENJ. I wrote a little bit about that, and had planned on going all-in over there, but then I discovered a new happy place: WAX. I still play LR sometimes, and still plan on returning to writing about it here, but a majority of my focus lately has been on WAX.
It all started with the all-too-well-known (in)famous Alien Worlds. I know, pretty stereotypical. But, I enjoyed it! And through it, I earned a few WAX to start off my portfolio. But then I discovered a fun little project called Nifty Wizards, and that's when I REALLY fell down the rabbit hole. I found an amazing community, which now almost feels like a family. I have been led to other similar projects, I have collected an INSANE amount of NFTs for somebody who started with literally nothing, and I still see SO much potential for myself, for these projects, and for WAX in the future. Alien Worlds may have fallen by the wayside (thanks, recently insane CPU charges that I can't afford to keep up with), but many more doors have opened up, and I think I'm gonna stay here for a while.
