It has been four years since I joined Hive (Steemit back then) platform. I became a member of Hive on January 10, 2018. I can say that I met Hive by chance. At that time, I was looking for an alternative video platform to YouTube and came across DTube. I signed up for Hive to become a member of DTube. I focused on DTube, but I didn't know that Hive was such a huge platform. Then, I had started searched into HIVE. In the first times of my membership, it took a while for me to understand how Hive blockchain functions.

The period when I became member was the time when cryptocurrencies first made a splash. Back then, HIVE was just as active as it is today, and the price of HIVE was higher. Therefore, there were many users from both my country and other countries. In the first months of my membership, I participated in approximately 25 competitions where posts were written on a different topic each week, contributing to the development of the TR community and tag. The contests were organized by the largest TR community of that time. I can say that the contents were instructive and helped me to adapt to Hive quickly as well. Later on, I participated in the TR community project, which supports the development of the community, the tag and the new members. During this period, the trend of the community and the tag were very high and a friendly atmosphere was established.
Towards the summer of 2018, due to the decrease in the price of Hive and some other reasons, many people left Hive, never came back. After this period, I rarely shared posts and tried to keep up with Hive by voting manually and automatically with applications like Partiko and Hive Auto. I can say that I kept on in this way not being very active until the end of 2020.
Towards the end of 2020, I started sharing posts again. As of August 2021, I started to use Hive actively again sharing, voting, and commenting on posts with the convenience of the Ecency application. I hope I will continue to be in Hive from now on as well.
