Hi Friends

Today, I have reached over 2250 Hive Power which was the next milestone for me on HIVE. I have been a member of HIVE for more than five years. Considering this period, reaching 2250 HP may not be very important, but I think it is important in terms of motivation and consistency. Sure, I have not done this period, which is more than five years old membership, to the fullest. I had dropped by HIVE from time to time and shared some posts until the middle of 2021, but I have never left HIVE.

I had about 590 Hive Power in August of 2021. From August on, my activity on HIVE has increased gradually by posting, upvoting and commenting on posts thanks to @ecency DApp. Meanwhile, we have started to be active on HIVE again together with some friends in our Hive Türkiye Discord channel. As a result of the developments in Turkish Community, the trliste curation trail has started to be active again after three years and has started to support posts written in Turkish with tr tag. Nevertheless, the number of people writing in the Turkish Community has decreased considerably after the earthquake disaster in February 2023. During this period, I could not be active on the Discord channel and I could share few posts on HIVE for some reasons. I see that the TR Community have got together, TR HIVE PUD and TR List Activities are on-going, I hope I can participate in these activities.

2022 was the year in which I shared the most posts, read the most posts, upvoted the most posts, received the most upvotes, commented on the most posts, and received the most comments on HIVE. I still try to keep going this way. I hope that I will do much more in 2023. Besides, I also joined the HIVE Power Up Day for one year since April 2022 and I have powered up 111 HIVE till then. Having reached my another goal, 2000 HIVE Power on HIVE, I reached the next goal, 2250 HIVE Power, in four months. This time it took longer to achieve the goal due to the reasons I mentioned above. Just as it requires effort to achieve something in life, it also requires effort to grow your account on HIVE. If it wasn't for the Ecency DApp, perhaps I wouldn't be this much active on HIVE and wouldn’t be able to achieve my goals as well.

I see HIVE as a long-term investment. For this reason, I regularly power up the HIVE I receive from author and curation rewards. As for HBD, I have long been transferring HBD into the saving account since the interest rate was increased to 20%. It sounds very reasonable to me for now to receive 20% annual interest payout for an instrument whose value is almost equal to 1 USD. If the annual interest rate of HBD is decreased, I will definitely convert some of them to HIVE and increase my voting power. Besides, I set a new goal for myself to accumulate much more HBD. After reaching my goal of accumulating 1000 HBD, I could convert my HBD interest payout to HIVE and increase HIVE Power. What is written here about HIVE and HBD is not a financial advice.

I have never drawn neither HIVE nor HBD from my wallet and used them for any other purpose. There might be people who need this income from HIVE; however, I am in favor of powering up HIVE rewards up to a specific goal for a stronger account and the community. I would say this goal should be between 5000 HP - 10000 HP.
