Tired eyes, heavy heart,
Dragging feet, a weary start,
Thoughts swirling in a foggy haze,
Energy drained, in a drowsy daze.
The day was long, the work was tough,
Mind and body in a constant huff,
The clock ticks on, but time stands still,
As I struggle to climb this endless hill.
A mind that's numb, a spirit low,
A heart that's heavy, with an undertow,
The weight of the world, on my shoulders,
Leaves me feeling fatigued, like a boulder.
But I press on, with a steady pace,
For tomorrow's another race,
Though my body may ache and tire,
I'll keep pushing, higher and higher.
For in the end, when the day is done,
I'll rest my head, and dream of the sun,
And though I'm fatigued, I'll rise anew,
For life is a journey, and I'll see it through.
