There once was a man with a shovel, Who thought he could win against trouble.

He shoveled the snow with all of his might, But the next day, it was an even bigger sight.

He woke up at dawn and started to clear, But the snowflakes kept falling without any fear.

He shoveled and shoveled till his arms were sore, But the snow kept coming back for more.

He tried salt and sand and even a broom, But the snow just laughed and said, "You're doomed!"

He looked at the sky and let out a sigh, And said, "I give up, I cannot lie."

So he left the snow to cover the ground, And went back inside with a frown.

But the next day, he saw with his own eyes, The snow had disappeared to his surprise.

He scratched his head and wondered why, The snow had vanished from his sight.

But then he realized with a grin, That it was April Fool's Day, he had been had again!
