There once was a dog named Joe, Who loved to chase his tail to and fro.

He'd spin and spin without a care, And sometimes even do it in pairs.

One day, Joe met a cat in the park, Who said, "You should try climbing trees, it's a lark!"

Joe thought it sounded like a fun game, So he ran to the tree and began to aim.

He jumped and leaped with all his might, But soon realized that he couldn't quite,

Climb the tree like the cat could do, And thought, "Oh no, what shall I do?"

He barked for help and soon enough, His owner came by and gave a huff.

She lifted him up and he realized, That sometimes adventures can be disguised.

So Joe went back to his tail-chasing game, And spun and spun with a new-found aim.

He learned that sometimes it's okay to say no, And that being himself was the way to go.

So if you see a dog in the park, Chasing his tail and feeling like a lark,

Just remember that trying new things is fine, But being yourself is always divine!
