There was a giraffe with a long neck, Who loved to eat leaves with a big peck.

She'd stretch and bend with all her might, And sometimes even eat all night.

One day, the giraffe met a bird in a tree, Who said, "You should try flying, it's so free!"

The giraffe thought it sounded like a fun plan, So she flapped her long neck and began to scan.

She stretched and flapped with all her might, But soon realized that she was in a fright.

She looked down and saw the ground so far, And thought, "Oh no, I might hit a car!"

She called for help and soon enough, Her friends came by with a big huff.

They lifted her up and she realized, That sometimes adventures can be disguised.

So the giraffe went back to her leafy feast, And stretched and bent with a new-found beast.

She learned that sometimes it's best to stay, And that being herself was the only way.
