There was a cat with a fluffy tail, Who loved to nap and never fail.

She'd curl up and snooze with all her might, And sometimes even sleep all night.

One day, the cat met a mouse in the house, Who said, "You should try running, it's like a rouse!"

The cat thought it sounded like a great dare, So she chased the mouse with a big glare.

She sprinted and dashed with all her might, But soon realized that she was in a fright.

She looked around and saw the mouse so swift, And thought, "Oh no, I might just drift!"

She called for help and soon enough, Her owner came by with a huff.

They scooped her up and she realized, That sometimes adventures can be disguised.

So the cat went back to her napping game, And curled up and snoozed with a new-found aim.

She learned that sometimes it's best to stay, And that being herself was the only way.
