There was a cat, who loved to sing, But her voice was a terrible thing.

She'd meow and she'd yowl, And her notes, they'd just howl, And her audience, they'd all take wing.

This cat, she was a real show-off, And her singing, it just wouldn't go off.

She'd purr and she'd caterwaul, And her listeners, they'd all bawl, And wonder, why she didn't just cough.

But one day, as she sang her tune, A dog came by, who started to croon.

He sang with all his heart, And soon they both did start, To sing together, like a big cartoon.

Their voices, they weren't perfect, But together, they were just so infect.

They meowed and they barked, And their audience, they all marked, This new duet, that was just so correct.
