The long nights stretch on endlessly A void of time, an emptiness.

But in the dark, my mind comes alive with thoughts and dreams, I can survive

The stars above, a cosmic show a reminder that I am not alone.

For in the night, the universe sings A symphony of all living things.

The moonlight filters through my windowpane A gentle glow,

a soothing balm and in this loneliness, I find my peace for in the quiet, I am truly free.

So let the night stretch on forever for in this solitude,

I am clever to find the beauty in the dark and let my soul embark.

On a journey through the lonely night

Where secrets are revealed, and dreams take flight.

And as the night wears on I am reminded of the dawn

When the darkness will recede, and the light of day will succeed

But for now, I'll let my heart be still and let the loneliness fill.

This quiet space in which I dwell for in this moment, all is well.

I'll listen to the rustle of leaves as the night breeze so gently grieves.

And I'll let my mind wander far to places distant, like a shooting star.

The long nights may be lonely but they're also a chance for me only.

To be with my thoughts, my fears and dreams and to find my own light, or so it seems.

So, I'll embrace these long, lonely nights for they are a gift, a time to delight In the beauty of the dark,

the stillness of the night and in the morning, I'll wake to new light.
